A loan of $1,450 helped to buy staple grains, cosmetics, vegetables, and clothing.

Ivette Del Socorro's story

Ivette owns a small grocery store. She lives in the city of Granada, and she is married and the mother of 4 children. She started her business 7 years ago. She says that she started out selling sweets, snacks, and bread. As time passed, she added new products. She invested her earnings in the store until she was able to stock it with more products that her customers were asking for her every day. Today she needs the loan to buy staple grains, cosmetics, vegetables, and clothing, since she has noticed that offering more of a variety of products is attractive to customers. She has decided to improve her store's infrastructure and buy display cases to exhibit her products. Her goal is to give her children a respectable home.
