A loan of $400 helped to purchase second hand clothing and fishing equipment.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda, 63, is married to Dennis whom she lives with, in their own house. Yolanda sells second hand clothing which she buys at shopping centres in the city. She takes them to sell in small villages located on the banks of rivers. She has been doing this work for 2 years and she also fishes. She has a fishing boat with all the equipment such as nets and traps. She likes her activities since it keeps her occupied and she obtains an income for her family.

This will be her first loan with Kiva, so she hopes for your co-operation, to continue with her goals. With the requested amount of 1000 Peruvian Soles she has plans to invest it in the purchase of second hand clothing at wholesale, as well as to buy fishing equipment like traps and nets.
