A loan of $1,500 helped to buy a router to make wooden frames.

Winston Alberto's story

Winston is 42 years old, married, and the father of 2 children. He is from the city of León. He makes furniture. He started this business when he was 24 years old. It was the only trade he learned and his idea was to open a carpentry shop in the hope of leaving his two daughters an inheritance. Right now, he only has one assistant whom he pays weekly. He makes doors, wardrobes, chairs, shelves, cabinets, etc. He is asking for the loan to buy a router to make wooden frames. His idea is to have a variety of furniture with better presentation, and become known at fairs and events that make high quality furniture. His goal is to be able to expand his carpentry shop with better machinery and be able to give jobs to more people.
