A loan of $6,125 helped a member to buy feed.

San Antonio De Jicamarca Group's story

The San Antonio De Jicamarca group is comprised of 11 entrepreneurial and responsible members, who are in their fifth cycle.

This is the case with Virginia, a 63 year old member. She is married and has eight children, one of whom she continues to support. With the desire to improve financially, Virginia started her own business of raising pigs. She started out working on a farm where they raised said animals. With the knowledge and experience that she got, she decided to undertake said business.

She has now been working this way for over 16 years. With the fruits of her effort she has been able to help her children get ahead. She used her last loan to buy balanced feed for her animals. Virginia’s greatest wish is to see her children become professionals.

The San Antonio De Jicamarca group is grateful for the loan that was granted because it makes progress possible.

Virginia is the fourth one from the left. She is wearing a brown top and black pants.
