A loan of $1,300 helped to buy fertilizers, compost, and other farming supplies for her coffee crop.

Fidelina's story

Fidelina is a dynamic young woman. She is 30 years of age, married, and has three children who are dependent on her in all aspects. Fidelina never received an education because she did not have the opportunity to study in her youth. Her parents had limited resources, so they decided to teach her farming rather than send her to school. They instilled in her the skills that she continues to use today. Fidelina has plenty of experience and her husband and children help her with pruning, weeding, and fertilizing the crops. She and her husband own the land they cultivate thanks to both of their efforts. Their farmland is located a few meters from their home, which allows them to always be watchful of their crops so that they can prevent infestation of pests and other problems.

Fidelina is currently requesting a loan in order to buy fertilizers, compost, and other supplies so that she can maintain her coffee crop. This will enable her to protect her crops from infestation so that she can take full advantage of her production. Her dream is to have the most productive crops in the area so that she can provide her children with a better standard of living. She also wants to give her children the best university education so that in the future they will have better opportunities in life since working the land is tiring and the income is minimal.
