A loan of $975 helped to buy polo shirts, pants, and other clothing.

Teofila's story

Teofila, 35, is married to Kleiver, with whom she built her house of solid materials.

She makes a living selling various garments such as clothing for women, men, and children. It's a job where she needs to be present throughout the day to welcome her distinguished customers, who are mainly farmers from the rural areas of her town as well as the general population. Sometimes she has the help of her husband when it's necessary for her to be gone to carry out other tasks, and she doesn't want to ignore her business.

One of her main long-term goals is to expand her business and open another business of the same type but in her own locale, preferably on a main street in her town.

This is her second Kiva loan and she's very grateful for the financial support received. She wants to have 2,500 nuevos soles [PEN] to get more women's polo shirts, pants, and other garments with high demand among her customers.
