A loan of $1,500 helped to pay for fertilizer and to cover the renovation costs of her greenhouse.

Manik's story

Manik is from Aygeshat village of the Armavir region, where she lives with her husband, mother-in-law, and son.

Manik is engaged in land cultivation. Particularly, she cultivates tomatoes, onions, and melons, and grows cherry trees. Manik's husband sells the gathered harvest locally and gathers income, which is the only income for family.

It is very difficult for Manik and her husband to sustain the family and the agricultural income is very important to them. They own an greenhouse that is too old and needs to be renovated, but unfortunately Manik and her husband have no financial funds for doing the renovation. Manik has requested this loan from SEF International to renovate her old greenhouse and purchase fertilizer for the cultivation of her crops.

The loan will enable this family to cultivate fruits and vegetables in new greenhouse and gather higher income. Manik dreams to give her family appropriate living conditions and ensure a better future for them.
