Kulkayir's story

Kulayir is a member of the "Kulkayir" group. She is 48 years old and the mother of four children. Kulayir works as a cashier at the local office of Elektrosetei and, as additional income for her family, is engaged in livestock and agriculture. Through hard work, her farm today has 0.36 hectares of land sown with grain crops, ten heads of sheep and goats with offspring, and two horses.

In order to further develop her business, Kulayir turned to the microfinance bank Bai-Tushum and Partners for a loan of 50,000 som (KGS), with the purpose of buying livestock for fattening.

Kulayir plans to invest income from the loan to the further development of her business, and wants to buy a tractor to work the field.
