Diana Epifania

Nicaragua
Leon, Nicaragua / Bakery

A loan of $1,500 helped to buy ingredients for bread.

Diana Epifania's story

Diana is married and the mother of three children. She's a merchant by trade and earns her living making and selling bread, a job she does with her husband. Previously the business belonged to her mother-in-law but currently she runs it. She sells and distributes her products on foot to markets and grocery stores.

She requested the loan to buy flour, oil, leavening, sugar, baking powder, sweets, flavorings, and marmalade.

Her dream is to set up a bigger bakery with an industrial oven so she doesn't have to use a firewood oven and to increase production and be able to hire more people.
