Berta Lidia's story

Berta is 42 years old, a widow, and has three children. She lives in the town of Choloma, Cortes. 12 years ago Berta set us her own business, a convenience store where she sells basic foods and prepared food. She sells basic grains, lard, eggs, sugar, soap, bread, soft drinks, churros, milk products, etc. She runs her business out of her home and tends to it all day. She has had several loans through ODEF, is now in her 25th cycle and is asking for 5,000 lempiras which she will use to stock her store. She hopes that the will have financial stability in the future.
