Aniceta's story

Aniceta was born in the community of Tiracanchi (San Salvador, Pisaq, Cusco) but lives in Ccotatoqlla, thirty minutes from the the community of Mika close to the highway. The community of Mika is located in the district of Colquepata in the province of Paucartambo in the department of Cusco, Peru.

Aniceta is 38 years old, married and has six children. She is an enterprising and hard working woman who works in agriculture, cattle farming, crafts, vegetables and fruits sales and small animal breeding. She has a small stall near one of the markets in the city of Huancarani where she sells different types of vegetables and fruits such as onions, carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, corn, barley, bananas, apples, papayas among others.

A group of neighbours invited her to participate in the communal bank “Intipakareq” because she is a responsible and cheerful person. At this time she requires a loan to purchase goods such as vegetables and fruits. She is grateful to all the people for the loan and she promises to pay the monthly fees on time.
