A loan of $525 helped to pay for a course.

Dinorah Maria's story

Dinora is married and has four adult children, one of whom is studying. She lives in the city of Managua and had many limitations in getting an education but she made the firm promise that one day she would get a university degree. That is what she did and now she is finishing her law degree. She studies at night and during the day works at a barber shop and as a secretary. She divides her time between studies, work and family, since her children are grown and do not depend on her much. With what he earns, her husband helps cover household expenses and her children's studies. Due to the economic situation and unemployment their children do not work. This is why she chose to study, so she could help her family lead a better lifestyle.

She is requesting a loan to pay for her last course to get her law degree. In the future she wants to open a law office with her university colleagues.
