A loan of $625 helped to purchase cattle.

Baktygul's story

Baktygul is 44, and has a son. She works as a salesperson in a store. As a second source of income for her family, she is also involved in animal husbandry. She started this business 10 years ago with 15,000 soms (KGS). Thanks to her hard work, Baktygnul now has 2 head of cattle in her business. With the goal of expanding her business, Baktygnul has turned to the Bai Tushum & Partners Microlending Bank for a loan in the amount of 30,000 soms (KGS) to buy cattle and earn income from selling the milk. Baktygnul plans to invest the proceeds from the loan into further augmenting her animal herd, and also in the near future plans to do some makeshift repairs.
