Joseph's story

Joseph, 32, is married and has a child. He currently offers transport services to customers using his motorcycle. He describes himself as a tolerant and patient father and individual.


Joseph successfully repaid a loan of 40,000 KES. He is now applying for a 30,000 KES loan with SMEP DTM to open a retail shop. His anticipated profits will be used to improve his shop and buy a plot of land.


In five years Joseph sees himself as a taxi operator in his neighborhood in west Nairobi.
