8 De Diciembre Group's story

The December 8th group are requesting their second loan from the women's committee program. The group is from the city of Caaguazu, and all are women and the breadwinners for their families who have decided to fight for their families by taking the reins and never letting anything beat them. Sonia is one of the members. She is a cleaner and wants to use her loan to start a small convenience store so that she can generate more income for her family. She hopes that over time, and with the help of the foundation, she will be able to grow. She is requesting this loan so that she can buy vegetables, fruits, noodles, rice, flour, and other supplies in bulk so that she can stock her store.
