A loan of $750 helped to pay for additional computer parts and supplies.

Emma's story

This is Emma. Her previous loan helped her in her business and she was able to buy the needed products for her variety store. She was able to generate more income, which also helped to pay for her children's education. She has had this business for ten years now. Aside from her variety store, she also has a computer shop.

She would like to apply for another 30,000 PHP loan to buy additional computer parts and supplies needed in her business. Her profits from the business will definitely help sustain her family’s daily needs and pay for her children’s education expenses. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Emma dreams that her business will continue to expand and dreams that her children will finish their studies. She meets with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
