Sulema's story

Sulema was born in Challabamba District and she lives in the same district where she was born. Challabamba District is located in Paucartambo Province in Cusco Department, Peru. She is 36 years old and has a common-law marriage, from which she has three children. She belongs to the Virgen de Chanca communal bank. She is an enterprising and responsible person. She raises small animals like pigs and sheep, and she sells food. She has a stand in one of the the schools in the city of Challabamba. On this occasion, she needs the loan to buy merchandise like sacks of flour, sacks of sugar, noodles, oil, and other things. She is grateful to everyone for the loan and promises to make her payments on time.
