A loan of $2,000 helped to buy materials to repair the cattle barn to keep them warm and improve their milk production.

Ignacia's story

Ignacia's business produces milk, which she then delivers to a collection company. She lives in her own home with her family in the community of Akerana in the town of Achacachi, around two and a half hours from the city of La Paz. She has several heads of cattle of an improved breed, which need better care given the weather conditions of the season.

The loan is needed to buy building materials: cement, bricks, etc. This way, she can repair the barn to keep the cattle warm, therefore improving their production and preserving the health of her cows. Ignacia's dream is to increase her herd and to take better care of them for better milk production.

This is the second time she is requesting a loan with Impro and the first time with Kiva.
