A loan of $325 helped to repair the floor and roof of her restaurant.

Anamelva's story

Anamelva is 32 years old and lives in her own home with her husband and two children. Her business involves selling food, such as lunches. She works Monday through Friday. By attending to her customers in a friendly manner, she has been able to achieve good reception and demand. In addition, she sells grilled chickens on Sundays. Anamelva has been in business for eight years.

She says that she enjoys her business because she likes to cook. In addition, she is able to generate a good income so that she can pay her bills and household expenses. However, she does like being fatigued as a result of having to wake up very early. Anamelva is not discouraged and continues with her business. She wants to expand and enclose her establishment so that she can serve her customers more efficiently.

This will be her first Kiva loan. She hopes to receive support so that she can follow through with her plans. The amount of 800 PEN that she requested will be invested in repairs to her roof and cement floor so that she can serve her customers more comfortably.
