Maa Mangala Self Help Group's story

Maa Mangala Self Help Group consists of eight women from a village in Odisha. They formed a group to share their problems and to solve their problems among themselves. One of them is Anusaya, who was selected as the president of the group. The lady standing fourth from left side in the photo is Anusaya. Anusaya is 23 years old and lives with her husband and her two children. She has two acres of land in her village and she is using her land in rice cultivation. Her husband is supporting her in this activity. She has requested a loan to help her to purchase the required resources for rice cultivation such as seeds, fertilizers, and insecticides, and to cover operational expenses like labour charges.
