Caroline's story

Caroline is a married woman. She has 3 children with ages ranging from 4 to 10 years. She describes herself to be honest and reliable. She operates a grocery store where she sells kale, eggs, fish, tomatoes and other groceries. She has been involved in this business for three years. Her business is located in a rural area where customers are numerous. She describes her biggest business challenge to be that some of the groceries are perishable. She will use the 20,000-KES loan to to add stock of kale, eggs and fish to sell. Her business goal is to open a retail shop within five years. She hopes that in the future, she will be successful and educate her children. This is her first loan with SMEP DTM.
