A loan of $2,450 helped a member to buy one sack of onions.

Rhuzusanye Group's story

Mélanie, age 45, is an entrepreneur and the president of Rhuzusanye Group. She's married and the mother of nine children. Her husband is a builder (master mason).

Mélanie sells onions. She started this business in her youth, with funds she received from her parents. She will use her part of the new loan to buy one sack of onions.

Deteriorations and insecurity in rural environments are major challenges for her business. She would like to send her children to school and expand her business.

In conclusion, she greatly thanks Hekima for its support with microfinance.
