Letecia, age 55, runs a general store to earn an income. She sells items like canned goods, soap, spices, eggs, and soft drinks. She and her husband have six children, one of whom is still enrolled in school. Letecia works very hard to provide for her family and has been engaged in her business for two years.
Letecia has requested a PHP 30000 loan through NWTF. She will use her loan funds to buy more stocks to sell in her store.
In the future Letecia would like to build and expand her business.

(NWTF) is a non-governmental organization established with an aim to help men and women achieve self-sufficiency, particularly in the province of Negros Occidental’s low-income communities. The organization offers its clients a wide variety of products, including loans for micro-entrepreneurs, hospital income benefits, life insurance, accidental death benefits and more. Kiva lenders’ funds will be used to expand the reach of these products to low-income urban and rural communities.
