A loan of $250 helped to buy ingredients.

Yurisela Del Carmen's story

Yurisela is 29 years old and lives in the city of Esteli. She is married, lives at her mother’s house, and has a three year old son. She completed her studies for an agricultural engineer career but decided to do something that would generate an income, due to lack of employment opportunities. Her mother taught her to make delicious nacatamales and this is a very popular breakfast in the home. Thanks to God she has had much success and this is her first business which she uses to support her family.

Yurisela is asking for this loan in order to buy the products she needs to make things such as dried corn, firewood, condiments, meats, lard, peppers, and onions.

Yurisela says that this loan will be of great help to her because she will be able to buy more ingredients so she can produce more.

Her goal is to build a house to be able to provide a dignified roof for her son. Her next goals are to improve her food stall and continue making her delicious products. Yurisela has her mother’s support in making the nacatamales that she distributes to various neighborhoods in Esetli.
