Ana Victoria's story

Ana Victoría is the only daughter of Mrs. Rosa del Carmen, a housewife, and Mr. Alejandro, a worker for a metallurgical company. Ana is 19 years old, and she was born in Monterrey, México. Every since she was very little she has been tenacious. With great effort from her parents she managed to complete high school. Due to her parents’ financial situation, she is not now able to continue her education.

She decided to set up a small stand selling cell phone accessories at a flea market that is close to her home. It was only set up on the week-ends. With a little bit of money that she got as a loan, she was able to get some accessories and start her business.

Ana has now had her business for two years. It has grown with much demand. She is very enthusiastic about the loan she has requested. She will use the loan to add the sale of computer accessories to her business. This is because the customers are constantly requesting this type of accessory.

She hopes that with the additional income from this new stage in her business she will continue helping her parents and that she will pursue her education.
