Napoleon's story

Napoleón is 51 years old and a widower. He has three children who are 22, 15 and 13 years old. He says that his wife's death was a blow for him but that he continued to strive to get ahead in life for the sake of his children. Napoleón's business is farming. He sows a variety of vegetables, such as potatoes, cassava and corn, on his plot of land which is located in Cañada Stronger community.

This loan is Napoleón's first with the institution. He will use it to buy potato seeds and to prepare his soil. He is requesting this loan so that he will have the resources he needs to sow his crops and survive. Napoleón faces challenges in his business such as problems with the weather which sometimes ruin his crops. He will use the profits he makes to improve his quality of life. Napoleón is a responsible and hard-working person who is grateful to the institution for the support they provide.
