A loan of $4,000 helped a member to buy sugar, guayaba, fruit, sweeteners, and more.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The 18 members of this group are very hardworking people who fight for their families to give them everything they themselves couldn't have. They want their children not to have to experience any type of need. They saw a great opportunity for progress in the women's committee in the foundation.

Elva, one of the members, works making and selling sweets. She says that it is going very well for her in her work because her sweets are very much accepted by her customers. She works day to day and says that she starts working very early in the morning. Her dream is to be able to have a great candy store and being able to continue in this way with her micro-business. She is asking for this loan to buy ingredients to keep making her sweets, such as sugar, guayaba, fruit, sweeteners and more.
