Peninah's story

Peninah resides in Nkubu with her husband and two children. She has been a farmer for the past fifteen years, growing and selling bananas and horticultural crops.

She has requested a loan of KES.30,000 from Juhudi Kilimo for purchasing a chuff cutter,which will be used to cut nappier grass for the dairy cows, thus leading to an increase in milk production. She says that this will improve their standard of living. She wants to be the leading milk producer in the entire country.
