A loan of $4,225 helped a member to buy vegetables such as onions, tomatoes, peppers and more to sell.

Maria Auxiliadora Group's story

The "Maria Auxiliadora" group is made up of friends and neighbours in the city of Ybycuí and, thanks to the effort that all the women are putting in, the group is now on its sixth loan cycle. They all work together to beat any challenge they come across.

One of the group's members is Agueda, who makes a living selling vegetables. She has a small but well-stocked stall where every day, from early in the morning, she sells a variety of fresh vegetables to her customers. Agueda's aim is to continue with this work so that she can provide her family with what they need, so that they do not go without.

Agueda is applying for this loan to invest in buying fresh vegetables to sell. These vegetables include onions, tomatoes, peppers and more and will allow Agueda to continue with her business.

In this group: Agueda, Maria, Blanca, Claudelina, Petrona, Leonarda, Filomena, Nelci, Maria, Maria, Casilda, Liz, Antoliana, María
