Beatrice's story

Beatrice is 43 years old, married and a mother of three children. She operates a cafe for a living in Malindi. She earns a monthly profit of about KES 5,000. Beatrice applied for a loan of KES 15,000 to buy more stock of food supplies such as cooking flour, cooking oil, cereals, and beans, as well as other items such as spoons, eating plates, tea cups, etc. She will use the anticipated profits to pay school fees for her children.
