Francis's story

Francis, 31, is a married man with one child. He has been in the business of selling cereals for 1.5 years. His business is located within town and has high potential. His customers are mostly locals from the area in which he operates. He has borrowed a loan of 20,000 KES which he will use to buy more maize and beans to sell; with his profits, he will pay off his loan and expand his business. Previously, he has been involved in farming business. This is the second loan with SMEP DTM; the previous loan was repaid successfully. His future goals are to supply cereals to institutions and sustain his business.
