Kitebutura Friends Group's story

Musa is a hardworking married man with 3 children who lives in Fort Portal, Uganda. He is involved in a number of activities, including crop farming, poultry, and transportation, and also operates a hotel to support his family. As the good father that he is, he desires to educate his children up to the University and to set up sustainable income-generating activities so as to secure a good future for them. Poor roads and price fluctuations hinder his progress, but his dream is to become a model farmer.

Musa is requesting for a loan to rehabilitate his banana plantation and buy feed for his poultry project. He is a member of the Kitebutura Friends Group, where each member guarantees the others to access a loan.
