Ros is 56 years old. She is married and resides with five children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been running a grocery store for more than a year, earning approximately $3 daily. Her husband is a councillor of the district who makes an income of $4 each day. Four of her children are employed in garment factories and earn about $14 per day. Due to the difficulty in her family’s finances, Ros is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase a motorbike for commuting. This purchase will help her reduce the transportation expense. In the future, she would like to expand her store and help her youngest child earn a bachelor’s degree.
