Akodessewa, Togo / Charcoal Sales

A loan of $800 helped to purchase sacks of charcoal.

Kouassi's story

The father of a 5-year-old child, Mr. Kouassi is a retailer and a building painter at the same time. He sells sacks of charcoal which he purchases in Lomé and from inland cities. Starting this business in 2008, he is very pleased, since it brings in the revenues enabling him to support himself. He is requesting an initial loan from WAGES to bolster his business selling charcoal. He hopes to expand his business sector and to ensure his family's needs are met.
