A loan of $1,225 helped to pay for cloth, fabric, thread and other materials needed in making a gown.

Marieta's story

This is Marietta. She previously accessed a 20,000 PHP loan that she used to purchase quantities of raw materials like fabric, thread, and other materials needed in her bridal gown rental business. Her earnings were a big help in covering her personal, household, and business expenses.

Marietta would like to apply for another 50,000 PHP loan in order to buy additional supplies of raw materials needed in her business. The profits from her business will definitely help her meet her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Marieta hopes to have more stalls and dreams that her children will have a good future. She meets up with her co-fellowship members every week to share stories of her life and business and to draw strength and inspiration from the fellowship and from the Word of God, which she studies.

*All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
