A loan of $500 helped to buy manure, herbicides, and leaf fertilizers to plant her 7,000 square meters of corn to feed her family.

Sandra Aracely's story

Sandra is 33 years old, married, and has two children. She makes a living through agriculture; raising cattle and small animals, and has done so since she was 20 years old. She learned it from her parents because at a young age they taught her different jobs in order to earn a living. She has three dairy cows that help to feed her children. In order to buy farming supplies she has to walk 20 minutes to get to the road and then boards a minibus to get to the city. The loan that she is requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy manure, herbicides, and leaf fertilizer to plant her 7,000 square meters of corn to feed her family. With the earnings she hopes to repair her home before the rainy season begins and affects her family.
