Dúo Grande Solo Dios Group's story

“Grande Solo Dios” Group

Doña Susana, age 46, is originally from Tecpan. She is responsible for two young children. Susana makes traditional handwoven items. She has been in this line of work for a few years and it has allowed her to help her family move forward.

Susana’s husband works as a farmer, planting greens and vegetables. What little he earns helps with the household expenses. Thanks to the support of her husband and children, Doña Susana continues to make her woven items.

Her dream is to have a larger business so that she can generate more income and send her children to school. She is requesting a loan so that she can buy raw materials for making her traditional handwoven items.
