A loan of $1,475 helped a member to buy bundles of clothing (shirts, blouses, pants, shorts, t-shirts, dresses, and skirts) to sell.

Mi Morenita Flat Group's story

Rocio has been a second-clothing seller for the past 6 years. She says that she has always liked selling because she can make money, do it in her free time, and has made good friends. Rocio sells second-hand clothing door-to-door. She takes her suitcases and goes out to sell her products. She says that sometimes, without leaving her home, people go to her house to buy from her because they know her.

She will invest her loan in buying bundles of clothing (shirts, blouses, pants, shorts, t-shirts, dresses, and skirts) to continue selling.

Rocio hopes that, in the future, she will be able to build a store in her house from which she can run her business, and in that way, she won't have to go out to sell. She also hopes that her daughters will have the opportunity to continue studying.

Rocio belongs to a group called Mi Morenita which is located in the community of Paso Rincón. Paso Rincón is surrounded by lime orchards and many people from the area work in the orchards.

The other three members of the group are:
Francisco, who sows and harvests limes.
Fabiana, who also sows and harvests limes
Juana, who sells cosmetics

In this group: Francisco , Fabiana , Rocio , Juana
