A loan of $400 helped to buy cosmetics.

Doris's story

Doris is 37 years old, married, and has her own home that she lives in with her partner, her children, and some of her siblings. With her family, she works every day to improve her quality of life. Doris' work involves selling cosmetics. She sells lots of different kinds of products through catalogs. She has a display case in her home, where customers come to buy perfume, talc, creams, deodorants or some other item they use.

She has worked in this business for around six years; she works alone and earns a lot of money. Sometimes she alternates this activity with selling soda, depending on the time of year. For the time being, she will continue to work selling cosmetics. She enjoys this work, and maintains her earnings with the customers she has built up over the years. She is very content about having her independence.

On this occasion, she is requesting S/1000, and is grateful to everyone who help provide her with this loan so that she can continue to achieve her goals. She is also committed to making her loan repayments on time. She will mainly use the loan to buy cosmetics such as talcum powder, creams, perfume and other women's accessories that her customers want to buy.
