Azra's story

Ms. Azra is a 43-year-old lady who enjoys doing her work of hand embroidery. Her embroidery patterns are very popular in her territory. Due to increased demand for her embroidery designs, she is including other women in her business. She has five children and is motivated to provide her family with the basic necessities of life including food, clothes and education. In order to meet the growing demand for embroidery, she needs to engage some more women. Therefore, she requested a loan of 20,000 PKR (Pakistan rupees) from Kashf Foundation. In this way, she can manage to buy more frames, needles and threads of different colors which will help in generating more income. She is in her fifth loan cycle with a good repayment history. She hopes to have a good experience with this new loan.
