Abdullah's story

Abdullah is a 21-year-old, married man, who has one child and lives in Sana`a, Yemen. He has completed secondary school. He started up a small business four years ago. He has a fabrics store. He has a lovely and cooperative wife. She was ready to sell her jewelry, in order to provide her husband with the capital needed to open the store and improve their living conditions.

He has applied for a youth loan of 500,000 YER from AMB to buy a new range of fabrics, so that he can increase his income. He looks forward to completing his higher education, and opening a savings account for his daughter to secure her future. He would like also to expand his business and open another store, to make more profit.
