A loan of $800 helped buy a sewing machine and embroidery.

Komla's story

Komla is a young 27-year-old man who is a professional tailor and embroiderer. Following his apprenticeship, he opened his workshop in 2010 in which he sews clothes for his customers.

With this first credit loan requested from WAGES he hopes to buy a sewing machine and make improvements to his workshop.

In the future, he hopes to resell bazin fabric (type of colorful West-African fabric) and set up a large workshop.
