Fighting for a better future? We need your help.

Creating a more equitable world takes a lot of time and energy, but at Kiva we’re in it for the long haul. 100% of money lent on Kiva goes to funding loans. That means we rely on donations from people like you to make this work possible. For a limited time, if you donate $35 or more, a $25 bonus will be added to your account (you’ll get an email once it’s there).

Analou's story

Analou is 29 years old and married with 3 children. With two children in school, Analou works very hard to provide for them. She runs a general store in the Philippines and requested a PHP 11,000 loan through NWTF to purchase more groceries to sell.

She has been in this business for five years and sells a variety of items, such as shampoo, sardines, noodles and other groceries. In the future, Analou would like to save enough to build a house for her family.
