A loan of $2,550 helped to repair his shop.

Shakir's story

Shakir is an IDP (Internally Displaced Person) from Fuzuli. He lives in the Absheron region with his family. He is 52 years old, married, and has two children - a 20-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son. His daughter is married and has a child. Shakir's son wants to become a firefighter. His wife stays at home, so he is the only one making an income.

This is Shakir's third loan from Kiva. He started his business 2 years ago, selling fruits and vegetables. Now he needs a 2,000 AZN (Azerbaijan New Manat) loan to repair his shop and to make shelves inside the store for displaying the goods. Shakhir is thankful to Komak and Kiva for supporting him again.
