A loan of $2,850 helped to purchase building and insulation materials.

Oyunbileg's story

Oyunbileg, 38 years old, lives with her family in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city of Mongolia. The family resides in their own house on a plot of land. Her younger sister has a position of designer at a private business entity. She herself has been working as a laboratory technician at a center of disability research.

The house they live in has been deteriorating over the years and needs some serious repair. So she is requesting a loan of 4,000,000 MNT to cover the costs of purchasing building and insulation materials such as planks, gypsum, fiber glass, foams and metals and installing a sanitation system into the house. This will increase energy efficiency. Because the family previously used coal to warm water and heat the house, the renovated house will enable the family to burn less coal, emit less smoke and contribute to the efforts against air pollution.

The borrower is a very hardworking individual who strives for a better future.
