A loan of $550 helped to pay for raw materials like different kinds of fabric, thread and other items needed in her business.

Amelia's story

This is Amelia. She previously accessed an 18,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan that she used to purchase quantities of raw materials like fabric, thread and other materials needed in her business. Her earnings were a big help in her personal, household and business expenditures.

She would like to apply for a new 22,000 PHP loan to buy additional supplies of raw materials like different kinds of fabric, thread and other items needed in her business. Her profits from business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart.

Amelia dreams that her business will continue to grow and hopes to have a happy family. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her life and business every week, and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and pay microfinance loans.
