Lorna's story

This is Lorna. She previously accessed a 16,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) loan that she used to buy more quantities and varieties of products to expand her product inventory. Her earnings were a big help for the education of her children and in her personal, household and business expenditures. She would like to apply for a new 9,000 PHP loan to buy merchandise products like clothes for men, women and children. Her profits from her business will definitely help her to sustain her daily needs and the educational expenses of her children. She looks forward to this financial increase with gladness and thankfulness in her heart. Lorna dreams that her business will continue to grow and hopes that her children will finish their studies. She meets up with her co-fellowship* members to share stories of her work every week, and this is where she can also draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies. * All CCT community partners/clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay microfinance loans.
