Damas Unidas Group's story

"Damas Unidas' (Women United) is a group from the city of Curuguaty. It consists of 14 women. They all work and they help each other to advance. They are from a city quite remote from the central region, where they don't have much access to the means of communication, and together one of their goals is to be able to continue improving their neighborhood with the help of everyone.

Celia, who is a person who works hard for her family, is a great example of their work, since she makes soap of every type. She is very good in what she does, and she comments that she makes orders for many places, and with this she helps to support her family. She is applying for this loan to purchase glycerin, coloring, and other supplies to be able to continue making the soaps that she sells, since through this effort she is helping her family. She dreams of her neighborhood continuing to improve and grow.
