A loan of $500 helped to buy more fruit such as watermelon, oranges, bananas, and dairy products.

Mayra Raquel's story

Mayra is 19 years old, has a partner and is pregnant with her first child. She makes a living from selling frozen fruit, including ice cream snacks. She travels to buy fruit in the market two or three times a week.

The loan she is asking for from Fundación Campo is to buy more fruit such as watermelon, oranges, bananas, and dairy products, as she wants to start this business. Her desire is to set up a store in her house, to feel useful and to generate income for her family, more so now that she is having a baby.
