Juana Danelia's story

Juana Danelia is 31 years old. She is married and has two children, aged 13 and 9. She is from Managua, located in central Managua. Danelia is described as being a hardworking, responsible woman with good habits and who really wants to get ahead personally. In her free time, she likes to enjoy her children and make them traditional foods from the region, such as indio viejo. Unfortunately, she was unable to go to school due to a lack of financial resources. That is why she fights day to day to offer them a better future.

Thanks to her sprit and her eagerness to get ahead, she has the economic activity of making and selling cakes. She spends about 10 hours a day on her business, and activity she performs with much pleasure. The purpose of the loan is to invest in working capital and buy raw materials such as molds, sugar, cream, flour, eggs, milk, cinnamon, chantilly cream, yeast, and candles so that in the near future she can obtain better income. Juana Danelia is grateful for the help the Kiva investors give to low income people and poor countries such as Nicaragua ao that they can have dignified work.
